Paris, 12 November 2022 – A delegation of representative of G100 - an influential group of 100 women leaders from across the world, in 100 wings and sectors, supported by 100 eminent He for She champions - took part in the 5th edition of the Paris Peace Forum and reaffirmed its commitment to continue to involve civil society in its activities to build sustainable peace.
The Paris Peace Forum pointed out how much the future of the world is fragile; sufferance and distress due to wars or climate crisis is touching millions of people. However, the victims of today should be supported through specific programme to act as the leaders of tomorrow. The victims of today, children, young adults, and women need to be at the negotiating tables of tomorrow.
The G100 delegates – headed by H.E. Ouided Bouchamaoui, Nobel Peace Laureate 2015, Tunisia reaffirmed that this is what we owe our future generations. We owe them to nurture the idea of respect among human beings, we own them our engagement to treat our neighbors as equal. The G100 network, is present in almost all countries of the world, and its delegates reaffirmed their engagement to pursue this objective in all their activities when attending the Paris Peace Forum on 11 and 12 November.

Through their activities, the members of the G100 network, will renew hope and trust in humans, and seek collaboration with all actors involved, in particular with civil society, by nurturing the instinct to help the other human being that is deeply rooted in each of us.
G100 will continue to build and reinforce networks of advocates in all the regions of the world to pursue peace and citizens safety through dialogue and support. Cooperation among networks of women engaged in pursuing dialogue in all regions of the world will help find solutions and avoid the North-South divide because multilateralism should include all sectors of society.
The future of humanity depends on us, on the actions and talks that hundreds of networks of women active in all regions of the world can pursue in their respective areas of remit.
The sense of hope transmitted by the many participants at the Forum, is what the G100 delegation is bringing home, to their respective networks, to continue to build occasion for peaceful dialogue in the years to come.
This is the first of 100 steps that G100 will make in the next 12 months to achieve the objective. The rendezvous is next year to the 2023 Paris Peace Forum.
