Our Country Chairs are influential media arts and communication professionals leading their Country Club, taking the mission forward into deep interiors, and into the hearts and minds of every woman and ALL within their communities.
Mayuri Naidu
South Africa Country Chair
Mayuri Naidu is a South African actress trained in film, television, theatre, and voice. She is a familiar face in the Durban theatre scene and has done numerous television dramas, including Muvhango, High Rollers, Broken Vows, and currently, Generations. She has also dubbed hundreds of Spanish telenovelas over the years. She is best known for her starring role as Dhananjay "Dhanny" Rangila in the SABC3 telenovela High Rollers.
Mayuri is trained in contemporary, modern, hip hop and Latin America Dance and has a keen ear for languages. She has a BA in Creative Writing from the University of South Africa (Unisa) and currently studying animal welfare through Unisa. She has a strong interest in educating people about domestic animal care and changing legislation to protect animals as much as possible.
Natalie Fort
Ghana Country Chair
Natalie Fort is a multiple award-winning Broadcast Journalist, News Anchor and Television Host based in Ghana, West Africa.
She serves as Patron of the Ghana Philanthropy Forum, a Board Member supporting Grant & Partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (Ghana), and Advisory Board Member of the World Sustainability Organisation.
Beginning her career in Broadcasting with TV3 Network of the Media General Group, Natalie quickly grew to become the network’s youngest and most sought after news anchors, presenting its prime-time bulletin - News 360 every weekday. Natalie’s success in media begun in her work anchoring the weekday news.
Dr. Naomi Osemedua
Nigeria Country Chair
Dr. Naomi Osemedua is a Storyteller, Speaker, Podcaster & Global Strategic Communicator who has been featured in High impact events and spoken on stages across Four Continents. She is passionate about Human Capacity Development and loves to speak with humor, using real-life stories to keep her audience captivated.
She has also been listed as one of Nigeria’s 100 most inspiring women 2020 by Leading Ladies Africa and in June 2022, she was listed among the 100 Most Impactful Women by Richer Woman Inc and the Vanguard Allure for her work in contributing towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She is fondly called the SPARKLE QUEEN, for sprinkling her “Sparkle Effect” on everything she touches. As the CEO of the CentreStage Company - she is on a mission to help entrepreneurs turn their stories into profits and impact their world like only they can.
Aalia Lanius
USA Country Chair
Aalia Lanius is a multiple award-winning Novelist, Media Executive and producer, seasoned businesswoman, and recently debuted filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
As Founder and President of UNSUGARCOATED Media, a 501c3 media production enterprise, Lanius uses her creative skills to mentor and facilitate media and live events that empower survivors of trauma—largely through storytelling.
Nominated for “Mother of the Year 2019” for American Mothers, Lanius shares her heart wrenching, yet inspirational personal story in an effort to remind others of their own resilience. Featured in interviews around the globe, Lanius takes the representation of underdogs to another level as the media industry comes to appreciate her message.
Swapna Abraham
India Country Chair
Swapna Abraham is a multiple world record holder, singer-songwriter, actor, author, interior designer, mentor, and marketing and branding enthusiast with her roots and formation in India and prime experience in the UAE. She is a multiple world record holder and award winner.
Swapna has authored and produced 21 musical albums and performed extensively on the international gospel music platform. Holding 4 world records in singing and songwriting with the Golden Book of World Records, her book entailing the journey and lessons through the 1000-day world record journey is soon to be published.
A mentor in singing and songwriting, Swapna championed the first branded karaoke cafe “Kafeoke” in India with a school for singing and songwriting and a recording studio. She is also known for her acting performances as Donna in the Mamma Mia musical directed by the late Mithran Devanesan, and Meenakshi in the Tamil feature film Nadunissi Naaygal directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Lisa Burke
Luxembourg Country Chair
Lisa Burke is an experienced broadcaster having spent the bulk of her career presenting live television with Sky News, plus BBC, Channel 4, Fox News, many other Sky channels, RTE (Ireland) and RTL (Luxembourg). Her reporting has covered national and international assignments, documentaries and radio.
In Luxembourg, Lisa created RTL Today which has now become the biggest English news platform in the country. Now, she hosts and produces a weekly radio show and podcast: 'The Lisa Burke Show'.
Lisa is in high demand as a host and moderator, covering TED talks, all Luxembourg Space Agency work, finance, health, entrepreneurship, tech, science, European Institution events and many more. She is a public speaking coach, and launched the first Presenting & Debating Society at the University of LUxembourg. Additionally, Lisa is a sought-after voice-over artist, a trained classical singer and pianist. Whilst living in Abu Dhabi for two years, Lisa wrote for The National newspaper.
Macherie Ekwa Bahango
Congo Country Chair
Machérie EKWA BAHANGO is a Congolese writer and director passionate about cinema. Machérie is self-taught. Maki'la is her first film as a director. Machérie was invited to the Cannes Film Festival for the first time in 2017 as a young talent invited to a round table organized by the OIF and the French Institute.
In December 2017, Machérie was selected for the Berlinale Talents 2018 program but was unable to participate because Maki'la was selected the same year at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival in the Forum section.
Her film Maki'la has made about twenty festivals around the world and has won several awards such as the JCC Jury Prize and the Golden Screen at the Festival Écrans Noirs in Yaoundé. Machérie participated in the film Félicité by Alain Gomis. She was in charge of translating the script into Lingala..
Jannette Riffo
Argentina Country Chair
Jannette Riffo M. is a Media Specialist, Journalist and Editor born in Chile and lives in Argentina. She is the owner of Agencia Milla Turismo S.p.A. and founder of "Tu Revista Emprendedora", a trilingual digital magazine and the first media in Latin America that connects entrepreneurs and professionals, establishing entrepreneurial journalism. She leads a team whose essence is based on the contribution of supportive and collaborative women. Her journey as a journalist and digital press at APEC in Chile started in 2007-2008, when she created the CCTV program "Mundo Emprendedor" in the city of Venado Tuerto and later created a radio program on Radio Nacional de Rosario called "Mujer Siglo XXI”.
Specialized in communication, she is also the Author of the workshops "Let's sell", "From Doing to Being", "The Entrepreneurial Footprint" and "What Do You Want to Communicate?
Vanessa Garduno
Spain Country Chair
Vanessa Garduno is a Brand Strategist, Writer and Speaker Manager with a passion to make purpose-driven personal brands shine. She has a double master's (Internationalization of Companies and Marketing Administration) with a degree in International Business and more than 10 years of wealth of marketing & sales experience in LATAM & UE across a wide range of sectors (Horeca, recycling, consulting, corporate finance, events & editorial), including local and international brands.
She defines herself as a constant learner and barrier breaker. Five years ago, she co-founded Branding for Writers (a branding and representation agency for authors and speakers) with the aim of making the content in non-fiction books shine and build authentic personal brands that create permanence and leave a mark on people's hearts through the voice of their authors, marketing, design and brave creativity.
Gabriela Mitri
Mexico Country Chair
Gabriela Mitri is a Podcast Host, Speaker & Founder of Speakhers Co. She helps amplify women’s voices and increase female representation in leadership positions. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, she is a Communicator from the University of Monterrey and has a master's degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Alcalá, Spain.
She began her career as a journalist and later migrated to Corporate Communications, leading the internal communications strategy, work environment and employee experience for multinational companies such as Whirlpool, GE Healthcare, Industrias Peñoles and Nemak. After 15 years of work experience, she found her purpose of helping more female professionals reach and act in decision-making forums. She created a community of professionals and entrepreneurs called Speakhers, which encourages them to find their voice and become persons of influence in their industry, increasing visibility and female representation.
Carmen Arroyo Garcia
Chile Country Chair
Carmen Gloria Arroyo Garcia is a TV Host & Lawyer. She has served as the host of popular television programs dedicated to providing legal help and guidance to citizens. Among them “La Jueza” (CHV), “Gente como tú” (CHV), “Se Busca” (CHV) and “Carmen Gloria at your service” (TVN). Before her participation in television, she achieved public notoriety in her profession in 2004 when she took on emblematic cases of national relevance such as: The case of Rodrigo Orias (murder in the Cathedral) and Gemita Bueno (Spiniack case). It was at that time that she began her relationship with television, being invited on several occasions as a panelist on the program "The Thermometer" of Chilevisión.
She has led important private and government campaigns focused on overcoming poverty, gender violence and protecting vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children. Since March 2018, she is part of the Grupo Defensa law firm, where she frequently participates in talks and other activities aimed at promoting education on family issues and other legal matters.
Freda Liu
Malaysia Country Chair
Freda Liu is a Broadcast Journalist, Speaker, Author and Moderator. She is a vivacious communicator who has lived and breathed business in the past decade with Malaysia's only business radio station and has conducted over 5000 interviews with some prominent names including Simon Sinek, Former Prime Minister of Finland Alexander Stubb, author Stephen Covey, Pocket Rocket Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser Price, motivational speaker Nick Vijucic, former GE CEO Jack Welch to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
Freda is highly sought after as a moderator, emcee and trainer too. She has moderated and emceed many corporate events with major names like SAP, Microsoft and many others. She has also trained on personal branding and women empowerment with the likes of Accenture and Intel to name a few. Freda is the author of several books including "PR Yourself" and “Shake & Spear Your Business. She's now working on her 7th book called "Audacity". She was awarded the ASEAN Rice Bowl Awards for Malaysia Startup Journalist Of The Year and a nominee for MaGIC’s Social Enterprise journalist.Kesi Gardner
Jamaica Country Chair
Kesi Gardner is a storyteller, educator, and marketing strategist who develops media relations and public relations campaigns for personal brands and companies. Her site is regarded as one of the world’s best marketing blogs by FeedSpot. For more than two decades, she has worked in non-profits, public relations, and marketing positions, and now serves as the Director of The Storyteller Agency. Co, which specializes in public relations, content development, marketing counseling, and influencer marketing.
Kesi is a commentator who has been on CVM’s In Live at 7 with Simon Crosskill, TVJ’s Smile Jamaica, CVM-TV Sunrise, Global Voices.org, Caribbean Radio.com, Jamaica Observer’s Page 2, Buzz Caribbean, Caribbean Business Report, and Philanthropy.com, among others. She has a master’s degree in strategic communication with a focus on social media marketing from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Kesi began her career as a graphic designer for a variety of firms, including McCann-Erickson Jamaica, a multi-national advertising agency, where she obtained vital experience in developing and bringing to life the “big idea.”
Reim El Houni
UAE Country Chair
Reim El Houni trained in the BBC and worked her way up the ladder primarily working on the production of corporate films, TV commercials, webcasts and events. She moved to Dubai in 2007 where she was catapulted back into the broadcast world, producing & directing the first English language locally produced TV show for broadcaster, Dubai One. She became an Executive Producer and Head of Events at the channel, responsible for developing a range of lifestyle programming and for live TV coverage of key events in the Dubai calendar everything from the opening of Burj Khalifa to the then-popular Dubai International Film Festival.
Reim launched her own production company Ti22 Films in January 2011 servicing both corporates & broadcasters. Ti22 Films has won 11 New York Festival Awards & an additional 13 finalist awards and in 2014 was awarded its first Cannes Corporate Media and TV Award. Reim has worked with some of the globes largest multinationals such as Amazon, Reebok, Swarovski, LG Electronics, to name a few, and broadcasters such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Times of India, BBC and many more..
Zeina El Akhawi
Lebanon Country Chair
Zeina El Akhawi is a Media Consultant and Executive Producer for Radio and Tv who's passion for media is beyond description. Zeina is the Chief Executive Officer "CEO" at Radio Press Akhawi Production House based in Lebanon where her team’s combined experiences have created Award winning Programs in collaboration with BBC, Monte Carlo, Qatar Media Corporation, Radio Holland (Arabic ) Radio Abu Dhabi, and many others producing Series, Documentaries, Educational, Social, Medical & Musical in collaboration with "Moods By Z" where a range of additional services put more information in front of the audience via Social Media, Video ads Photography, Websites Content Creation & more.
Zeina was born in Lebanon into a family that instilled in her a love of Radio & Media by spending a lot of time in studios with her very famous parents who were also media professionals. After school, Zeina decided to take her interests to the next level by studying Mass communication & Photography at Beirut University College, (BUC) Lebanon. She is a firm believer that Images and Photography is the perfect medium to navigate ideas around the world.

Bahamas Country Chair
Odaz Lightbourne CIM, Inst.M also known as Dazzy The Demi is a Personal Brand Strategist and Senior Digital Media Strategist, EQ Master Practitioner, and Media Personality. She is a published author and an award-winning professional in the Sales & (Internet) Marketing Industry. Odaz was also the co-host of the now voluntarily retired, popular morning show on Guardian 96.9FM with international reach: Rush Hour w/Howard & Dazzy and has been regularly featured on internal print and audio media within the last 5 years.
Odaz enjoys conversations about personal development, branding, neurodivergence and biohacking. She also writes an active newsletter on Linkedin.
