Swapna Abraham
India Country Chair - Media Arts & Communication
Swapna Abraham is a singer-songwriter, actor, author, interior designer, mentor, and marketing and branding enthusiast with her roots and formation in India and prime experience in the UAE. She is a multiple world record holder and award winner.
Swapna has authored and produced 21 musical albums and performed extensively on the international gospel music platform (www.swapnaabraham.com). Holding 4 world records in singing and songwriting with the Golden Book of World Records (www.1000songsin1000days.com), her book entailing the journey and lessons through the 1000-day world record journey is soon to be published.
A mentor in singing and songwriting, Swapna championed the first branded karaoke cafe “Kafeoke” in India with a school for singing and songwriting and a recording studio. She is also known for her acting performances as Donna in the Mamma Mia musical directed by the late Mithran Devanesan, and Meenakshi in the Tamil feature film Nadunissi Naaygal directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Her years at the T A Pai Management Institute and Indian Institute of Management Kolkata led her to becoming an avid marketing and branding enthusiast. Leaving no flair unpursued, Swapna is also an interior designer and member of the Designers Society of America (www.alikainteriors.com).
In culmination, Swapna is the recipient of the NeedStar Award (2010), a Women's Day Citation "Role Model for her progress and success in the field of Mainstream Career, Art & Entrepreneurship"; the Lamp-Icongo Karmaveer Chakra for Gospel Music Maestro Award (2012) for the contribution to gospel music from 1991 to 2012; and the Aspire World Award (2019) for her Passion for Excellence at the 31st Global Women’s Empowerment Summit, Dubai.

Shivjeet Kullar is a Creative Director, Author, Playwright & CEO of NFX Digital, a research startup situated in New Delhi that focuses on providing relevant insights. After playing a pivotal role in the BJP campaign that won them the elections in 1998, he created two ad campaigns that have been seared in Indian popular culture: the ‘Bole Mere Lips, I Love Uncle Chipps’ jingle and the Shahrukh Mayur Khan campaign. Furthermore, he is also an acclaimed playwright (‘Shiva Calling’, ’50 Words’) and author (‘Taking the Taj’).
Throughout his long and illustrious career, Shivjeet has always believed in pushing the envelope and thinking completely out of the box.
Shivjeet Kullar has spent over 30 years in advertising as a Brand guru. He began his career with agencies like Lintas and Contract. At the age of 27 he wrote the most famous line in the history of Indian Advertising - Bole Mere Lipps I Love Uncle Chips. Then he went on to win over 100 national and international awards, including One Show, New York Festival, Creativity International and JWT - All World Gold.
For ten years he wrote a column –Dilli To Pagal Hai, which has made him a household name in Delhi, it was later released as a book. He’s collaborated with Shiamak Dawar to write ‘Yes’ – The Musical. (where he worked with Bryan Tellis and Fountainhead) . He has also just published a fiction thriller titled ‘Taking The Taj.’ Talks are on to produce it as a film.
He also writes plays - the latest on Angel in the Machine is launching in Delhi this way, and an earlier one Shiva Calling is being staged in Sydney next year.
In 2011 the world-renowned Campaign magazine did a survey and ranked him as one of the 10 most high-profile creative people in India, the only creative person in Delhi to be named on the list.
8 years ago he left the advertising world and began life all over again as an Internet Start-Up Founder.

Anupama Venkatesh is presently Head of Partnerships and Special Projects at the American India Foundation. A seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in integrated brand solutions, business development, and digital & cultural transformation, Anupama is a passionate storyteller with a proven track record in forging strategic alliances across B2B and B2C sectors.
Anupama has worked with several media conglomerates like NDTV, India Today, Network 18, Times Television Network and Hindustan Times. She held an integral role in NDTV’s key social initiatives such as ‘Save the Tiger’ and ‘Greenathon’ and drove the joint initiative ‘#WhyTheFarq’ between India Today and Oxfam on the inequality towards women. Anupama also steered the Digital India project in association with HP, State Governments, and the Central Government. The exposure through her initial years saw her working with an Indo–Japanese NPO, for which she spearheaded the annual fundraising initiative for their project ‘Namaste India’.

She is a science communications fellow from Cornel University. A travel enthusiast, who is excited about spiritual wellbeing, cultural diversity, food, and the performing arts.
Aparna is a Corporate Affairs professional with over twenty years of experience, across Tech (Facebook & ByteDance), FMCG (Mars Inc.), Retail (Walmart), Entertainment (HBO, CNN and Cartoon Network), and Non-Profit (Save the Children & World Bank) in India, S. Asia and SEA. Working with diverse industries has equipped her with strong experience in Communications, Public Policy & Advocacy, Media Relations, Digital, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability
Daivata Chavan-Patil

Daivata Chavan-Patil is a Media Educator currently associated as a faculty member with the Department of Communication and Journalism, University of Mumbai. She is also a film producer and is associated with Onjal Arts Productions as Creative Producer since 2016. She produced a Marathi feature film ‘Barayan’ that theatrically released in Jan 2018 all over Maharashtra and was very well received by the audience.
Currently associated with Africa Asia Global Scholars Network, UK, as Assistant Director, Research and Technical and Maharashtra State President, Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their Information and Broadcasting Council on Honorary posts. She is also on the Executive Board of Public Relations Society of India, Mumbai Chapter. Her command over three languages, domain knowledge, in-depth reading, strong socio-cultural understanding, and the ability to empathise with the listener makes her an excellent orator. She has already been invited as a speaker by various academic institutions and industry across India.

publisher from the City of Joy, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is the Managing Director of AABS Publishing House and CEO of AABS Events and Entertainment, Sunita is also the Editor-in-chief of Reader’s Choice Magazine and organizer of many events of high repute. A poet, novelist, short story writer, painter and motivational speaker who is a widely published author in USA and India.In 2017, Sunita was the recipient of the Literary Nobel Laureate conferred by the World Nations Writer's Organization, Kazakhstan and was on the board of directors of Atunispoetry.com . She is also the ambassador of peace for the Human Rights Council, and the international peace organization HPWA. Sunita is the editor of many anthologies of international repute. She has been published in different anthologies and websites, blogs, e zines. Her many poems has been translated in French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian.
Madhulika Agrawal

Madhulika Agrawal is a media professional for 22 years, who’s passionate about content & its impact. A Literature graduate from Miranda House, with PG courses in Journalism & Filmmaking, and a Masters degree in Communications Policy from London, Madhulika has donned a gamut of challenging roles across the Indian Media Industry. Starting her journey as a News producer with Star, she later used her creative & analytical skills to later launch Fox Traveller Channel & relaunch the Nat Geo Channel in India.
From TV she switched to Radio, where she headed programming and then joined the India Today Network as Creative Head to set up their brand solutions team. Here she conceptualised and executed various content properties across TV, Digital & on-ground for different brands. Many of these were social impact projects like a Women’s Equality Campaign for Oxfam, a Youth Campaign for Fabindia and a Digital India Campaign for HP. Besides work, she enjoys good cinema, is a travel & culinary enthusiast & has a special interest in Health & wellness, with a certificate course in nutrition from e-cornell.

Priyanka Moza is a marketing maverick, an avid podcaster and a MarTech enthusiast, who has helped brands and organizations communicate effectively to the masses, listen efficiently from the masses, utilized analytics to reform the brand values & processes and instil a learning culture. An all-rounder with a career span of over a decade, she is currently the strategic advisor in the global campaign excellence team in GEP and in addition is helping establish their presence in Europe.
She is also the creator of The First Times podcast, where wonderful women talk about their journey to resilience & grit. In her role as founder of The First Times, it’s her mission to not only bring forward local stories of resilience and grit, but also help 100+ women each year to find a source of courage in the daily inconsequential decisions. She is a film producer, digital media entrepreneur, film strategist, digital content strategist, talk show host, anchor and philanthropist. She is the recipient of State Film Awards, iWoman of Substance Award, the She Unlimited Award, and Young Woman Achiever Award. She is the Youngest Female Film Producer from Odisha, India, who created history when she won the State Film Award for the Best Producer & Best Story category for her very first film Drustanta. Simran Singh is an intersectional feminist, writer, and law student pursuing her B.A. LLB (Hons) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, an independent and self-motivated person who is passionate about creating impact and building relationships. A committed learner who loves to write with strong advocacies, she aspires to create change through her work, one person at a time. While working on achieving her degree and doing legal internships, she is also dedicated to honing her skills and bringing about change in society. Pursuant to the same, she joined Girl Power Talk in 2021. Not only was Simran the youngest member to join the company as an intern at 15, but her employment was also soon extended beyond an internship. She was promoted to Sr. Writer and a key part of the managing editor department. She works with international clients and supports their sister company, Blue Ocean Global Technology, based in New York, to deliver on mandates of content creation, public relations, marketing, screening candidates, legal reports, and representing Girl Power Talk at public-speaking events.
Simran has also previously worked with several organizations, including TechPortal and Alcove Publishers, in content writing roles. She has actively volunteered in several non-profit organizations, including Girl Power USA, Utpravan, and Rejoice Foundation.

Deepti Pillay Sivan is an Indian film actress, film director and businesswoman based in Kerala, India. She is known for her lead role as Mohanlal's daughter in the movie Kalippattam starring Mohanlal and written and directed by Venu Nagavalli. She acted as the pivotal character in the movie. She also acted as a heroine in the movie Moonilonnu directed by K. K. Haridas. She is known for directing the film documentary Decoding Shankar about Shankar Mahadevan. She is currently the business head of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. Previously, she was the station head of Red FM 93.5. The documentary film "Decoding Shankar" which she directed got a nomination at Indian Panorama-2018.
Anshu Varshney
Anshu Varshney is an Indian actress and model who was crowned Mrs. India Runner Up in 2018, after which she pursued her passion for acting in Mumbai. She has worked in many short films, feature films and TV serials one of which is The Kapil Sharma Show and has acted in many web series. Anshu is known for her portrayal of the character "Charu" in the web series, Metal hood. Padmini Ravi
Padmini Ravi has been on a journey in dance for over 5 decades. She is a performer, teacher and choreographer who reveals a new dimension to dance. Padmini is also the founder and director of Padmini Ravi Dance Academy and serves as an exponent and teacher of Bharathanatyam, the ancient South Indian classical dance known for its grace, purity, tenderness, and sculpturesque poses. The classical art form embodies the three primary ingredients of Dance - Expression, Rhyme and Rhythm, which she imparts through training with her creative interpretations and adaptations of its movements. Padmini Ravi is a recipient of the Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy Award as well as the State Rajyotsava Award.
Amrita S. Nair
Amrita S. Nair is a published writer, columnist, author and an Advocate at the Bombay High Court, working as an Associate at Parinam Law. As the founder of The Silent Sexism Project and the Intersectional Feminist Magazine, she understands well the insidious ways in which discrimination and denied access to resources affects communities across the country. She is equally passionate about delivering justice to the underprivileged and is particularly interested in feminist jurisprudence, constitutional law, criminal law, international humanitarian law, and human rights, and has had the opportunity to revel in a variety of Indian music, dance, and cuisine as a Fauji kid. When not busy with work or championing the causes she feels strongly about, she is usually found curled up with a book in a cozy nook.
Krithika Ram
Krithika Ram is an award-winning speaker & leader in the development sector with more than 15 years of experience, presently serving as Coach-Operations & Donor Management in Feminist Approach to Technology (FAT) addressing the gender gap in technology. Earlier on, Krithika headed the India programs for WEConnect International, a US-based non-profit working with large US corporations and women-owned businesses to promote supplier diversity across the globe. She has been responsible for strategizing, strengthening and executing the CSR initiatives in Ramky Group, L&T Infotech and Icreon Tech. Krithika is passionate about mentoring women-owned SMEs and has been supporting some in Northeast India as a part of GIZ and Dhriti's Her&Now program since 2020. She is on the Advisory Boards of NPOs and is also associated with two women-owned enterprises.
Trina Dutt
Trina Dutt is a singer/songwriter who loves spreading joy and music through various genres of indie pop, soul, blues and rock. From intimate concerts and musical theatre productions to the radio, she dips her soul in the waters of all things music, singing and performing! Trina has a Diploma in Pop Vocals from the London College of Music (LCM) and a Diploma in Music Theatre (LCM), having topped India across all genres and won the 'Kawai Rolling Trophy for Outstanding Musician - Diploma (All Subjects)'. She also won the National Interschool Talent Contest 'Voice of Viva' in its 7th edition. Trina has performed in musical productions such as CATS (2014) and Lucky Stiff (2019) and was also part of the Under25 Summit in 2020 along with various online performances for charities and events alike. Trina has been training vocally for 12 years and performing for 7 years.
Mae Mariyam Thomas
Mae Mariyam Thomas is a presenter, journalist, podcast producer, and audio content/production consultant with over 15 years of experience in radio and podcasting. She started her career working in radio in the UK and India. She’s most well-known for being the host of India’s first indie music podcast Maed in India which was selected by Apple as one of the Best Podcasts of 2018 in India. The show has been running for over 7 years and is a platform to showcase some of the best independent music coming out of India. In 2019, she was chosen by GQ magazine for their 50 Most Influential Young Indians. Also, Maed in India is a 2021 Webby Award Honoree in the category of Limited Series & Specials - Diversity & Inclusion. Currently, she works as a podcast consultant to develop audio ideas, design shows, and handle production and distribution of podcasts.

Kainaz Jussawalla is an author, columnist, celebrity talk show host and the winner of three awards - “The Shiksha Ratna”, the “Asian Literary Society Author Award” and the “Fuzia Woman Achievers Award” for excellence in social media. Over the years, she has written extensively for various newspapers and magazines including Savvy and The Times Of India. Her writing work includes several anthologies and one bestseller. Deepa Menon is the Founder and Head of PVR NEST. She is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications in PVR INOX Ltd, the largest and the most premium cinema exhibitor in India and the fifth largest listed multiplex chain globally. Deepa has been acknowledged by Celluloid Junkie as one of the Top 50 Women in Global Cinema in 2020 and Social Samosa Superwomen in 2022. She has received recognition for Social Impact created through Pink Centres and Garima Grih by winning the CSR Journal Excellence Awards 2022 under the ‘Health and Sanitation’ Category presented at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), BKC, Mumbai.

Mridu Bhandari is an award-winning media professional with 18 years of multi-disciplinary experience in television & digital journalism, content strategy, creation & marketing at India's leading national English news networks and the BBC in London. She is a renowned face on Indian business news platforms like CNBC-TV18, Forbes Digital, Moneycontrol and previously ET NOW. She is the primetime anchor and editor of various long-format programmes. Mridu was the youngest recipient of the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism for her path-breaking work on socio-economic issues in rural India in 2008.
Vishu Rita Krocha
Vishu Rita Krocha is a recipient of the Kohima Press Club Impact Journalism Award 2022 and a National Foundation for India (NFI) Media Fellow, 2021. She has authored three collections of poetry, A Bucket of Rain (2011), Yearnings (2019) and From the Broken Earth (2021) besides a Naga folktale children’s book, Shoposho (2015). She has also co-authored several other books including Echoes of Spring and The Chakhesangs, a window to Phek district. Her short stories titled ‘Cut Off’ and ‘A Grandmother’s Tale’ were published in the Delhi-based Zubaan publications - The Many That I Am and Homeward respectively. Her works have been published by The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Wire and Scroll.in, and she currently also writes for The Morung Express.
Dr. Akshata Narain
Dr. Akshata Narain is a debutante in the Assamese media industry. Following her family legacy, she joined M/s AM Television Private Limited as the Vice President heading four Assamese channels – Prag News, Prag Channel, Prag Cinema, and Rengoni. Driven by her vision of emancipating the women of the region, she launched her pilot project Grihini Super Star which provided a platform for homemakers to show their worth. She is also actively involved with the Prag Cine Awards, the first and only award ceremony in Northeast India honouring the cinematic brilliance of the region. Dr. Narain has produced several shows both on Prag News as well as Rengoni TV. She rejuvenated the monthly entertainment magazine ‘Geet’, and launched the only multilingual news channel in the north-eastern region.
Ujjayinee Roy
Ujjayinee Roy is known for her versatility in various forms of performing arts. She is a singer-songwriter, actor/voice actor, Bharatnatyam dancer, columnist and poet. She has sung numerous songs in mainstream Indian music in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu films and has also collaborated and performed with international and Indian artists. Once a radio jockey with Radio Mirchi, Ujjayinee is a graded artist and composer with All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra. She has also hosted an entire season of Zee Tamil’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. A versatile singer and lyricist in multi genres, Ujjayinee was also jointly nominated for the Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) award. She is also a popular actor in the South Indian television and film industry.
Joanne Fernandes
Joanne Fernandes is a dynamite singer-songwriter from Goa known for her distinctive style, versatility, presence and spontaneous live performances. Her experience over two decades with different acts and across genres has made her into a constantly evolving artist. In 2006 she won the Kingfisher Voice of Goa title for her rendition of Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love Of All. Subsequently, as a brand ambassador for Kingfisher Voice, she completed 150 events in less than 2 years making her mark as a voice to be reckoned with. Joanne went on to release two albums, "Pretty Colours" in 2008 and "Christmas with Joanne" in 2009. Since then has been touring the four corners of India and pockets of the world. Joanne was the lead singer of a musical theater show "The Playground" choreographed by the internationally acclaimed Tino Sanchez.
Mythily Ramachandran
Ramachandran is an independent journalist from Chennai, India, with three decades of writing experience in leading Indian and international publications. Besides contributing to The Hindu, The Asian Age, Outlook and Femina magazine of the Times of India group, she expanded her work into international publications. Since 1995, she has been contributing special features for Gulf News- a leading UAE publication. Her weekly column ‘Southern Spice’ ran for 8 years from 2012-2021 in the Thursday edition of Gulf News. Vani Madhav
Vani Madhav, a senior Odissi dance exponent of Guru Debaprasad Das Parampara, has four decades of rich experience in dancing coupled with more than 25 years of experience in teaching and research. Vani was fortunate to be a cynosure for both media and critics who praised her for her extraordinarily brilliant performances combined with aesthetic grace. She conducts dance classes under the banner “Nritya Dhara” in Gurugram. Sanjukta Sharma
Sanjukta Sharma is a writer, editor and film critic. She has written extensively on films, art, gender, society, health and wellness for over two decades in publications such as The Indian Express, Tehelka and Mint. She was editor of Mint Lounge, the weekend magazine of Mint. In 2005, she was part of an investigative team for Tehelka which exposed child sex trafficking of immigrant children in Goa in 2004. At present, she is an independent critic and screenwriter, writing for Moneycontrol.com, The Voice of Fashion and other publications. She is at work to launch her own wellness platform, The Wellness Conversation and is writing her first book, a memoir-cum-reportage, ‘The Uterus Does Not Weep’.
Supriya Parulekar
Supriya Parulekar is a published fiction author with ten books. Recently released books; Hide & Seek won the LiFT Award in the family drama category and ‘Into the Woods’ won the Lit Fest Award for best thriller. ‘Into the Woods’ is signed for screen adaptation.
Between 2011-2013, Supriya has worked as a script editor for TV18, History Channel. Supriya wrote a column in ‘YUVA’, a magazine, for the youth. She has translated blogs, articles, columns from Marathi to English, and has written and developed a game for Aapar Games. A series of short films scripted by Supriya are released on LIFFT India channel and along with it is a mini-series titled, ‘Saarthi’ for RBME production, directed by noted television artist Riju Bajaj. Nisha Nair is a short film director and writer and Assistant Film Director in the Malayalam Film Industry. Her two independent short films “Pumschali” and “Khila” were hits on YouTube and reached more than 1 lakh viewers. These two short films also won several awards at both International and National short film festivals. Nisha is also a singer and sang in her second short film “Khila”. After working many years as a teacher and in non-IT MNCs, Nisha resigned from corporate work for her passion of filmmaking. She has a diploma in Film Making from a private Institute in Pune. She embarked on the role of Assistant Director in a movie named “Randammukham” which is to be released shortly. Nisha has always believed in perseverance and patience through the journey of filmmaking. Her dream is to make a feature film in Malayalam.

Judy Balan is a writer and consulting psychological astrologer. Her interests lie in the intersection of depth psychology, mythology, religion, astrology and the arts. She has published six novels including the bestselling Two Fates: The Story of My Divorce. Her most recent book Why Am I Like This: A journey into psychological astrology was published in February 2023 by Simon & Schuster India and is her first foray into non-fiction.

She is a top-graded All India Radio and Doordarshan artiste, a Hindustani Light Classical and Voice Culturing Mentor at SaReGaMa Music Academy, Mumbai, Head Of Department, Music, at Indian Television Academy Performing Arts, Mumbai, and Guest Anchor and Presenter in various online and offline music platforms, classical and non-classical musical shows with several popular albums. Rimi worked in Nairobi as a mentor, singer, and radio jockey & presenter. She has had the honour of staging many programmes on behalf of the Indian High Commission and represented India in different cultural fora.
Gajra Kottary
Gajra Kottary is a short story writer, a novelist and an award-winning television script writer who has written some of the longest-running, and memorable, serials in television. Among them are Balika Vadhu, Astitva - Ek Prem Kahani, and Na Umr Ki Seema Ho, among many others. She is also an author whose forte, as in her soaps, is women-centric stories. As a journalist, Gajra has contributed stories on women’s entrepreneurial roles for the United Nations Development Program’s magazine CHOICES. As a television scriptwriter, Gajra has won every major award for writing. Gajra's lifetime collection of women-centred short stories titled Autumn Blossoms is slated for release later this year.

She received her acting training under the Bollywood maestro - Anupam Kher at Actor Prepares, Mumbai. Svetlana is known to be the face of Emirati women in various advertising campaigns across the Gulf, particularly in the UAE. Her endorsements include top brands like Emirates NBD, Etihad, Instashop, MASHREQ Bank and CBI. She is also a Casting Director connecting talent and opportunities through YOOCASTA (Your Own Online CASTing Agency) that she co-founded in 2018. In 3 years, her company has successfully completed more than 250 casting projects and presented opportunities to thousands of local talent in the country. She aims to support and encourage local and international artists in the UAE and contribute towards developing the media industry.
Saira Aslam
Saira Aslam is an accomplished journalist and editor with around 15 years of experience across different formats of storytelling viz. digital, print and TV. She currently leads the External communications for India’s largest stainless steel manufacturer, Jindal Stainless, as the Associate General Manager – Corporate Communications. Prior to that, she worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News’ digital headquarters in Brisbane as a Producer. As an Assistant Editor at The Hindu, she wrote across different genres, both for print and online mediums. She was Press Trust of India’s youngest Principal Copy Editor, handling breaking news, PM visits and foreign affairs. She was an editor at the think-tank Centre for Science and Environment’s fortnightly publication, Down To Earth, also contributing to articles for the website. Padma Damodaran
Padma Damodaran is an actor, writer, theatre director/producer and trainer. She runs her own theatre company, Red Earth Stories, and is a co-founder of the Drama School Mumbai. She currently appears in many web series including Taj: Divided by Blood (Zee5), Farzi (Amazon Prime) and Criminal Justice Season 2 (Disney+Hotstar). You can see her live on stage in Heeba Shah's sci-fi play, What Happened?! and Smita Bharti's dark take on paedophilia, Ghat Ghat Mey Panchi Bolta Hai. Padma has directed and produced plays, which have performed at prestigious venues like the NCPA, Prithvi and G5A, among other venues. Padma is a trained Bharatnatyam and Mohiniattam dancer, and has trained in Carnatic and Hindustani vocals. She has a Master's degree in Acting from East 15 Acting School, UK. Sumana Ramanan is an award-winning Bangalore-based independent journalist with more than three decades of experience. Before this, she was an editor, a columnist and a correspondent with leading publications. Until late 2023, she was based mainly in Mumbai, with stints in Germany, Israel-Palestine and the UK. She is also working on her first book, of narrative non-fiction, which is expected to be released at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025. She is associate director of Literature Live!, which holds the Mumbai International Literature Festival. She is an avid student of Hindustani vocal music, and since 2016, has been learning from Pandit Arun Kashalkar. She is an aspiring yogi.
